Tigers prepping for 2018

With more than a week to prepare for it's next game, Winona boys basketball coach Presley Coleman is hopeful the Tigers will finally be able to secure a first win of the season. Following the Christmas break, Winona will begin MHSAA Region 2-2A play Tuesday with a home game against Leflore County.

Lady Tigers win over Charleston

The Lady Tigers of Winona High School used an impressive second quarter to take a solid 51-36 win over Charleston last week.

“Charleston is big and strong, but we played real well against them,” said coach Veronica Helms. “We played really good defense. We only allowed three points in the second quarter.”
