WCS heads into week with 3-1 record

The Winona Christian Stars split a pair of games last week and suffered their first loss of the season.

The Stars lost 7-5 to Ethel on Tuesday and bounced back to beat Delta Academy 12-1 on Thursday.

Lady Jags get off to good start on diamond

The Lady Jaguars' fast-pitch softball team has got off to a good start as they are 2-1 through their first three games of the season.

Four games have been postponed because of the weather. They were slated to play host to Winona Tuesday. Thursday, the Lady Jags go to Charleston, and they entertain Aberdeen Friday, weather permitting.
