The J.Z. George boys basketball team broke through in Region 2-2A play last Friday with an 82-66 win over Bruce High School in a game played in North Carrollton.
The Jaguars, who improved to 7-12 overall and 1-2 in district with the win, led 23-8 after the first period, 45-21 at the half and 66-41 after the third quarter.
