The town of Duck Hill will not see a tax increase this year. At their meeting on Sept. 10, the board adopted a millage rate of 59.52. City Clerk Lasonja Sizemore said the millage rate is the same as last years.
So, tax payers will not see an increase in their property or ad valorem taxes this year. Also, the board adopted its new 2018-2019 budget.
This year, the board approved with $926,686 in total revenue budget and $806,533 in expenditures. Sizemore said the total decreased somewhat from last year’s budget but not by much.
