Montgomery County is gearing up for the Christmas season, with plans for parades in Kilmichael, Winona, and Duck Hill underway.

Even if your church, school or organization has a float in another parade, that’s okay, organizers said any entry to another parade held prior to Kilmichael’s parade are allowed to bring their floats and entries and join the parade lineup. However, four-wheelers are not allowed.
Those who want to enter, should pick up an entry form at town hall or contact Alderman Charles Austin at 662-417-4221.
Organizers are asking participants to list the type or category for their entry on the form. And Kilmichael, the town that cares, wishes all are Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
In Winona, the parade will be on December 3, at 7 p.m. in downtown Winona. The parade route will be down Summit Street to Front Street to Magnolia Street.
