In an ongoing multi-jurisdictional investigation, deputies in Carroll County apprehended two additional individuals for copper theft on Highway 82 near Valley Hill, according to a press release from Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. Mikel Allen Welch, age 44, and Johnathon Laws, age 37, both residents of Greenville, were detained at the scene.
