Monday, Feb. 23 at the regular Board of Supervisors month end meeting, Carroll County Sheriff Clint Walker accepted a plaque award on behalf of the county for his work with the Mississippi Department of Transportation Litter Prevention Program. Thanks to the dedication of Sheriff Walker and the Sheriff's Department personnel, Carroll County placed second in MDOT District 2 Litter Prevention program, having collected 4,979 garbage bags of litter from the county roadways. This was awarded for the July, 2024 through June 30, 2025 term.
