A J.Z. George High School student was killed in a car accident in Carroll County on Thursday afternoon, July 24.
Makylah Banks, 16, a rising junior from Coila, died in a two-vehicle collision around 3 p.m. on U.S. 82, according to a release from the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
