Lady Rebels are competing for district title

With every starter back but one, the Carroll Academy Lady Rebels are on the verge of competing for a district championship again.
The Lady Rebels return eight starters from last year’s squad that went 11-14 and made the Class AAA state tournament.

Winona’s Forrest named one of state’s best

Winona track coach Chris McRae thought that sprinter T.J. Forrest was one of the best 400-meter runners in the state.
After winning the Class 3A 400-meter state championship, Forrest was named to the Clarion-Ledger’s All-state track team. There were only 20 players selected to the team.
