Carroll to be added to mask mandate

Carroll is one of seven new counties that have been placed under the mask mandate by Governor Tate Reeves, bringing the total to sixteen.

During his Monday press conference, Reeves added Benton, Carroll, Harrison, Madison, Marshall, Jones, and Leake counties to the nine counties he placed under a mask mandate.

Town switching garbage service companies

The Town of Duck Hill is switching garbage providers. The board of aldermen requested bids from several providers and accepted the bid from ADSI. Previously, the town had a contract with Waste Management but decided to switch and go with ADSI.
The switch goes into effect on Monday, Nov. 2.
