Winona softball was 2-4 in the past week – two victories and four rain outs.
The Lady Tigers defeated J.Z. George 18-0 and French Camp 12-2. Scheduled games with Kosciusko, Florence, Riverside and Shannon were postponed due to the weather.
MyCala Helms had a strong week with two doubles, a single and five RBIs in the two games. She also allowed two hits and struck out 16.
Against J.Z. George, Allyn Claire Gant had two hits and two RBIs, Emilee Lowery drove in two runs and Makenzie Ragland had three RBIs.
Ragland had two hits with three RBIs against French Camp.
The Kosciusko game has been rescheduled for April 1. An attempt will be made to reschedule the other three games.
