Carroll Academy's track and field teams recently finished up its season at the Class AA meet this past week in Jackson.
The strongest finish for the Rebels with a fourth-place effort as Jeb Beck took fourth in the boys shot put with a distance of 41 feet, 2.75 inches while Austin Smith was fifth with a throw of 40 feet, 5 inches.
Other results for CA were as follows:
In the girls 4x800-meter relay, Carroll finished fifth in the event with time of 12:10.26. Members of the team were Destiny Kelly, Shelbi Kelly, Natalie Kelly and Dru Chamblee.
In the boys 1,600-meter run, Drew Thomas finished fifth with a time of 5:34.42.
In the boys 3,200-meter run, Drew Thomas was sixth with a time of 12:43.77.
In the boys 4x400-meter run, Carroll finished in fifth place as Mathis Beck, Noah Beck, Bryce Collier and Logan Taylor finished with a time of 3:53.59 — In the boys 4x800-meter relay, Carroll finished fifth with a time of 10L0099 as Mathis Beck, Noah Beck, Bryce Collier and Preston Hays ran.
