The Kilmichael Volunteer Fire Department and Poplar Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded to a tractor shed fire Wednesday afternoon.
Kilmichael Fire Chief David Eldridge said the fire happened on Austin Road, just off of Highway 407. He said Poplar Creek arrived first, and the shed was fully engulfed by the time Kilmichael arrived on the scene.
“It was totally destroyed, there was nothing left,” he said.
Eldridge said the fire was only contained to the shed and didn’t spread anywhere else.
He said the cause of the fire is unknown.
