WINONA – Two Vaiden men are facing felony charges for allegedly robbing a Winona family at their home.
Latravian “Trey” Martiz Green is charged with armed robbery and burglary with intent to terrorize. Tyvon Hammer is charged with armed robbery.
According to Captain Dan Herod, chief investigator for the Winona Police Department, charges stem from a March 22 incident at a North Union Extended residence.
Herod said police were alerted to the home after the residents called 911 alleging that two men forced their way into their home and robbed them at gunpoint.
“A female and two small children were present during the robbery,” Herod said. “That is why [Green’s] charged with burglary with the intent to terrorize.”
Herod said the gunmen allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the home.
Herod said Hamer was identified as the alleged driver of the vehicle.
“The victims called the police and identified the men as suspects,” Herod said. “More arrests will be made.”
Herod said the investigation is still ongoing.
Both Green and Hamer were bound over to a Montgomery County Grand Jury Tuesday in Winona City Court.
Green is being held at the Carroll Montgomery Regional Correctional Facility in Vaiden on a $1 million bond. Hamer is being held at the Webster County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
