Winona Christian took two wins last week last week on the tennis courts as they prepare for the upcoming district tournament.
The Stars took a big 5-4 win over Magnolia Heights and then took a 7-2 win over Canton in district play.

In boys singles, Magnolia Heights took both points as Evan Williams lost 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 1 spot while Christian Lay lost 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 2 spot.
In boys doubles, Deuce Mooneyham and Reese Cooper won 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 1 spot while Riley Harville and Tag Brooks lost 6-3, 6-3 at the No. 2 spot.
In girls singles, Winona Christian took both points as McKenzie Ingold won 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 1 spot while Salley Hill won 6-2, 6-0 at the No. 2 spot.
In girls doubles, T.C. Cain and Makayla McDaniels won 6-3, 6-2 at the No. 1 spot while Lexi Ingold and Gowan Cain lost 2-6, 7-5, 10-8 in a split-set tiebreaker.
In mixed doubles, Trager Yoeman and Lucy Oliver won 6-2, 6-0 to secure the match for the Stars.

The Stars took a 7-2 win over Canton in district play last Friday.
Winona claimed all four boys points by forfeit.
In girls singles, Canton took both points as McKenie Ingold lost the No. 1 spot while Salley Hill lost 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 2 spot.
In girls doubles, T.C. Cain and Makayla McDaniels won by forfeit at the No. 1 spot while Lexi Ingold and Gowan Cain also won by forfeit at the No.2 spot.
