God’s House of Hope of Kilmichael has an ambitious goal, but they believe that their goal will be accomplished with Jesus’s help. To accomplish this goal, they need a little help from the public.
The center will have a Day of Hope at its campus in Kilmichael on Saturday, Aug. 28, beginning at 8 a.m. There will be games, food and fun for the entire family.
Featured guests for the event are: The Christian Way Gospel Singers, Julie Pipkin of North Winona Baptist Church, John McDaniel, Wesley Davis, L.U.C.Y Grammy Award Winner Amy Killebrew and Pizzaz, Daddy D and Sisters at Heart, Michelle Kendall and Just a Little Faith Ministry, Anchored Ministry and the Disciples, Elizabeth Boler of First Baptist Church in Grenada, From the Heart Ministries, Joyful Heart Ministries and Grenada Church of God’s “Vessel.”
Assistant Director Rebekah Pickens Johnson said the headliner will be Todd Tilghman from “The Voice.”
Johnson said the goal of the event is to help the center pay off its bank note by September. She said the thrift store will also be open throughout the day.
She said armbands for the all-day event will be available for $10.
Donations may also sent to 800 School Road, Kilmichael, MS, 39747.
