A Louisiana man was arrested after a safety checkpoint revealed he was in possession of a controlled substance, and a NCIC hit on him came back from the State of Missouri.
Winona Police Chief Roshaun Daniels said on Friday, May 20, David Hodges, 43, of Pioneer, La., was arrested after going through a safety checkpoint on Mississippi Highway 82 near the Pilot Truck Stop.
Daniels said Hodges was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, and a NCIC hit revealed that Hodges was wanted in Missouri with full extradition. He said that Hodges is currently in the Carroll-Montgomery Regional Correctional Facility where he awaits his initial appearance.
