Montgomery County Supervisors agreed during Monday’s regular meeting to rescind an order to enforce a weight limit and fine on two county roads.
The order had authorized officials to install a no truck traffic ordinance on a portion of Fisher Road and Bluff Springs Road with a 32,000-pound weight limit and a $250 fine, Chancery Clerk Ryan Wood said.
“They decided that the enforcement would be difficult,” Wood said.
Supervisors voted during their July 5 meeting at the Montgomery County Courthouse to put the order into effect to preserve recent repairs to the two roads.
However, on Monday, board members voted all in favor to rescind the action.
