Carroll Academy went 1-1 in girls fastpitch softball action last week.
The Lady Rebels knocked off Heritage Academy 9-5 last Tuesday in Carrollton as Layla Neese (1-1) got the win in the circle. She yielded all five runs on seven hits, walking five and striking out eight.
Nevaeh McCrory had three base hits, scored two runs and drove in three. Natalee Mitchell had a single and double, two RBIs and scored twice, and Makenzie Reeves had a single, drove in a run and scored two runs.
Audrey Woods had a single and scored three times, and Kaylyn Wiltshire, Andie Milton and Maggie Carter had a single each.
The Lady Rebels traveled to Calhoun Academy last Thursday and dropped a 12-1 decision to the Lady Cougars. Calhoun scored two runs in the second, nine in the third and one in the fourth. Carroll tallied its lone run in the third.
Wiltshire (1-4) took the loss, allowing all 12 runs on eight hits, walking five and fanning one. Mitchell, Emma Matthews and McCrory had a single each. Mitchell had an RBI and Matthews scored the run.
Carroll (2-5), which hosted Calhoun Monday, entertains Hebron Christian Thursday.
