The Carroll Academy Lady Rebels won a pair of games last week, including a big district win against Oak Hill.
The Lady Rebels beat Oak Hill 47-33 on Tuesday and followed that up with a 52-48 win over rival Kirk on Friday night.
Despite some big nights from Reese Fulton, the Rebels weren’t as fortunate as they lost 47-31 to Oak Hill and 43-32 to Kirk.
Carroll will return to action this week as they hosted Central Holmes in a key district contest and will make the long road trip to Marshall on Friday for another district game.

The Lady Rebels doubled up the Lady Raiders in the third period and took a 14-point win in a key district contest.
Carroll led 8-7 at the end of the first and 19-15 at the half. The Lady Rebels then outscored the Lady Raiders 20-10 in the third to take a 39-25 lead into fourth where each team scored eight points.
Sandi Rhea Tackett led the Lady Rebels with 16 points while Belle Sanders had 10 points and seven steals. Chloe Richardson also had eight points while Gracie Turner had 10 rebounds.

The Raiders overcame a first-period deficit and pulled away to take a big district win over the Rebels last week.
Carroll led 9-7 at the end of the first period before Oak Hill outscored the Rebels 13-4 in the second period to lead 20-13 at the half. The Raiders continued to extend that lead as they outscored the Rebels 13-10 in the third and 14-8 in the fourth.
Reese Fulton continued his strong play with another double-double as he led the Rebels with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Austin Smith also had six points.

Kirk Academy 48
The Lady Rebels grabbed another win over the defending Overall champions with a four-point win last week.
Kirk led 9-7 at the end of the first and 20-17 at the half. But Carroll took control of the game in the third by outscoring the Lady Raiders 17-9 to take a 34-29 lead into the fourth. In a high-scoring fourth period, Kirk outscored Carroll 19-18 for the final margin.
Gracie Turner had a big night with a double-double, scoring 20 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Chloe Richardson had 15 points while Sandi Rhea Tackett had 11 points, six rebounds and three steals. Belle Sanders also had three steals.

The Rebels got another big game out of Reese Fulton but not a lot of help elsewhere as the Raiders took an 11-point win on Friday.
Kirk jumped out to a 12-4 lead in the first period and led 16-11 at the half. The Raiders outscored the Rebels 13-9 in the third and 14-12 in the fourth for the final margin.
Fulton had another double-double as he scored 26 points and pulled down 13 rebounds.
