Officials with the Winona-Montgomery Consolidated School District are urging parents and guardians to complete the online part of student registration for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.
“WMCSD parents did a great job of coming out to the first registration. They brought the required documents and picked up their online registration codes; however, many parents have not yet completed the online component. Students are not registered for school until the online registration is completed. We need parents to finish the online registration as soon as possible so we can plan for the new year,” said Dr. Teresa Jackson, superintendent for WMCSD.
A parent or guardian must pick up an online code on one of the summer registration dates and complete the online registration process. If the online process is not complete, student registration is not complete, and the child or children will not be assigned to classes, according to a statement released by the school district.
“Parents did a great job picking up the codes, but many have not used them to complete the registration,” the release stated.
The next registration will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on July 19 in the Winona Elementary School Library.
“We are here to help!” said Jackson. “Parents who need assistance completing the online registration can call the WES office for an appointment at 662-283-4129.”
If parents need assistance with online registration after they have received their codes, they can make an appointment to use the computers in the WES Library from 8 a.m. until noon Monday – Thursday.
