A recent burglary of the Dollar General in Blackhawk has the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department asking the public for assistance in identifying a suspect.
The business was burglarized at 10 p.m. on Aug. 1, and the suspect took beer and cigarettes, according to a statement released by Sheriff Clint Walker.
“The camera system was working properly and captured images and video of the break-in,” Walker stated. “The suspect is believed to be a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a large build, and dreads.”
