CARROLL COUNTY – A Carroll County pair were arrested on drug charges at their home on Tuesday.
Carroll County deputies arrested Michael Ferguson, 35, and Monica Felts, 32, at their residence on County Road 214 in the Jefferson area of Carroll County and charged them with manufacture of marijuana, according to Carroll County Sheriff Clint Walker.
“Deputies located six marijuana plants growing inside and outside the residence. Paraphernalia and other marijuana were located in the residence,” stated Walker.
He also said a plant will produce from $1,000 to $1,500 worth of marijuana during a growing season.
Deputies took Felts to the Grenada County Jail, and they took Ferguson to the Carroll Montgomery Regional Correctional Facility to await their initial hearing.
A bond had not been set by press time on Wednesday.
