Police need your help in identifying those responsible for a home burglary in Winona.
According to Captain Dan Herod, chief investigator for the Winona Police Department, police are investigating a home burglary that occurred on Pecan Lane on the evening of Friday, January 19.
According to investigating officer Matt Miletello, it appeared that someone entered the residence from an unlocked back door. When the homeowner returned home, they were alerted to the crime by lights visible from inside the house. A .22 caliber rifle and a Playstation were found on the front porch.
Miletello said it appeared that the homeowners interrupted the burglary, however, a .22 pistol and a set of Beats headphones were taken in the burglary and have not been recovered.
