The J.Z. George varsity archery team took first place in the AIMS North State qualifier last week in Oxford.
The high school team finished with 2,959 points to finish first in the AIMS Class 2A division, which was held last Wednesday. The top four male and female scores plus the next four highest scores count in the team total.
