The Carroll Academy girls fast-pitch softball team broke through in the win column with an 11-1 victory over Heritage Academy last Tuesday in Columbus.

The Lady Rebels (1-4) tallied six runs in the first inning and five in the fourth. Heritage scored its lone run in the second.

The Winona High School girls volleyball team improved to 3-0 after the first week of the 2025 season.

After knocking off Noxapater in three sets in their season opener, the Lady Tigers defeated Kosciusko High School 3-1 last Tuesday and beat Houston High School 3-1 last Thursday.
