An Arkansas woman faces a felony driving under the influence (DUI) charge following a traffic stop in Winona.
Winona Police Capt. Matt Milletello said Kayla Jaggers, 58, of Jonesboro, Ark., is accused of felony DUI and felony fleeing law enforcement in a 2003 Toyota Avalon on Dec. 4.
He said a patrolman initially stopped Jaggers on Mississippi Highway 82 at the intersection of Interstate 55 before she fled north on I-55.
Jaggers soon was stopped by Officer James Burnett near the northbound lanes of I-55, where he arrested her, Milletello said.
Milletello said Winona police also found a misdemeanor amount marijuana in the vehicle with Jaggers at the time of her arrest.
Jaggers had her initial appearance at the Grenada County Jail on Monday, when her bond was set at $30,000.
