Program Chair, Terry Woods, invited fellow Rotarian Michael Nester, CEO of Winston Medical Center, to give the Louisville Rotary an update on all the wonderful things going on at Winston Medical Center on February. WMC offers various types of occupational and physical therapy, a wound care center, upgraded imaging, and so much more. “We appreciate Mr. Nester sharing this information with us today,” said Rotary Club members.

Mississippi has been without a ballot initiative process since the 2021 state Supreme Court decision on Medical Marijuana Initiative 65 invalidated the process outlined in the state constitution.
A measure to restore Mississippi’s ballot initiative process was moved out of the Senate Elections Committee this week to restart the negotiation process between the two chambers.
