District 4 Supervisor, Ron Wood, and District 3 Supervisor, Willie Townsend Jr., were both re-elect to the positions as president and vice president, respectively, during the first Montgomery County Board of Supervisors meeting of 2024.
Wood said that this will be his 6th term (24th year) on the Board and he has served as president for about 18 of those years. He said that he is thankful to serve in the role.
“I do appreciate them giving me the opportunity to be the president,” he said.
As president, Wood hears about things first. He’s citizens’ first call when they need something done. He added that he wants “to continue to work well with my fellow supervisors.”
