We are coming to the end of May, the end of the school year, and for some an end of an era. So, for this week’s column I thought I’d speak specifically to the graduates, but it is a lesson and a truth we all need to remember.
This weekend I was watching one of the best movies EVER, Gladiator. It is a movie that if you watch at different times in your life, you will learn something new or something will hit you differently. The quote that hit me hard was the following: “What we do in life echoes in eternity.”-Maximus. That is an incredible truth that we should think about when making decisions or choosing one path or the other.
So, the question is, what will the echoes of your life be? What will you do? My prayer is that you DO GOOD.
“Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up.” Galatians 6:9.
I pray you DO the SMALL THINGS, “Be faithful in the little things, and God will entrust you with big things.” Luke 16:10.
Lastly I pray you DO your BEST, “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.” Colossians 3:23.
If you do good, do the small things, and do your best in all situations then your life will echo well through eternity. Congratulations on all you have accomplished, and I pray blessings over all. Remember Ms. Faulk loves you, but Jesus loves you more.
