Winona Christian School is proud to announce the promotion of Dr. Amy Land from Elementary Principal to the newly created administrative position of Director of Engagement and Development. This role marks a significant step forward in the growth and future of our school, as it focuses on strengthening relationships both within and beyond our campus.
Dr. Land brings with her a wealth of experience in education and leadership, along with a deep understanding of the values and vision that define WCS. Her passion for student success, staff growth, and community partnership has long been evident in her work as principal, and we are confident that this new role will allow her to make an even greater impact.
As Director of Engagement and Development, Dr. Land will oversee several key areas designed to elevate our school to new levels of excellence:
●Social Media & Communication: Enhancing the school’s digital presence and ensuring timely, meaningful communication with families and the wider community.
●Alumni Engagement & Development: Reconnecting with WCS graduates and building a thriving alumni network to support current and future students.
●Community Outreach: Creating partnerships and opportunities that build bridges between the school and the communities we serve.
●Staff Engagement & Professional Development: Fostering a strong culture of growth and support for faculty and staff through collaboration, recognition, and ongoing training.
●Grant Writing & Resource Development: Identifying and securing additional resources to strengthen programs, support innovation, and expand opportunities for students.
This new position reflects the school’s commitment to strategic growth and to investing in leadership that will carry Winona Christian School into a stronger, more connected future.
