Vicki Lynne Hudson, 60, of Dickinson, Texas, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, at her home. She was born on July 01, 1964, in Winona to parents, Joe C. Hudson and Mamie Y. Hudson.
Vicki was born to military parents so got to see a lot of the United States and also, England. Settling in Jackson, Mississippi, she finished high school and attended a business college. Working several different jobs there including UMC before moving to Texas with her husband. There she got a job with the University of Texas Medical Center working there until her death.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe C. Hudson, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jamie R. Young and Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton M. Hudson, and her brother in law, Jim Walker. She is survived by her husband, Troy Stringer, her mother, Mamie Y. Hudson, brothers, Joe Hudson, Jamie Hudson, and sister Brenda Walker. Several nieces and nephews. Her beloved pets, Sassy, Ebony, Brutus, and Dani.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
