Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Franklin "Tater" Gregg, of Winona, were held Wednesday, July 9, at Hebron Baptist Church in Montgomery County at 10 a.m. The Rev. Bradley Herod and the Rev. Jimmy Leach officiated the services. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Mr. Gregg was born to Benjamin Franklin and Sallie Mae Strahan Gregg on Sept. 10, 1944. He was a factory worker for many years as well as being a jack of all trades. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and member of Hebron Baptist Church in Montgomery County. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Gregg was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert Herod and Archie Herod; and one sister, Irene Strahan.
