This week in the life of Ms. Faulk I got to go celebrate the birthday of one of my favorite kids who was turning 15. I love birthdays, celebrations, and I really love getting and giving gifts. Now he had asked for some specific gifts for his birthday that he had been waiting for and at his party he got them.

I can do it!!!

My niece is almost two years old and loves to do things by herself. No matter the task big or small her response is “No help”, “I can do it!” Now sometimes the tasks are hard and she fails which makes her upset, but other times she tries and succeeds and gets very excited.

This past weekend Montgomery and Carroll County churches participated in DNOW. A weekend full of worship, services, bible study, good times, and very little sleep. As an adult and teacher in this community I love watching our teens grow, recharge, and get prepared to change the world.
