Police department moving to old city hall

The Winona Police Department will soon have a new home.
At the recommendation of Winona Chief of Police Roshaun Daniels, the Winona Board of Aldermen voted to relocate the Winona Police Department, currently located at 608 Summit Street, to the former Winona City Hall building, located at 116 North Quitman Street.

Two facing felony charges in Carroll

A Vaiden man is facing felony drug charges in Carroll County.
Albert Haymond, 60, of Vaiden was arrested by deputies with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department in the early morning hours on Tuesday, July 27 and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell.
