The Winona Christian Stars took a break from district play and only played once last week.
The Stars were unable to hold onto an early lead as Lee Academy used a nine-run fourth inning to take an 11-5 win on Tuesday.
Winona Christian falls to 5-14 on the season and has a pivotal district contest with Carroll. Game 1 was scheduled for Tuesday at Carroll while Game 2 will return to Winona on Thursday. The series will conclude Friday at Carroll.

The Stars gave up a nine-run inning as the Colts took a six-run win on Tuesday.
Winona scored two runs in the first and one in the third and led 3-0. Lee then exploded with nine runs in the fourth and two in the fifth to go up 11-3. Winona added two runs in the seventh for the final margin.
Lee outhit Winona 11-4 in the contest. The Stars were led by Hunter Land who had a two-run home run in the first inning and added an RBI single in the seventh to go 2-for-4 on the day. Will Irwin singled and scored while Austin Horne also had single and Jace Osborn was also hit by a pitch twice.
Irwin started on the mound and pitched three innings, giving up five runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four. Cale Sproles pitched three innings and and gave up six runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three.
