Winona suffered two losses and had a rain out on the diamond in the past week. The Tigers were defeated by East Webster 14-2 and French Camp 10-5.
Monday's scheduled game at Morton was rained out and rescheduled for April 1.
The losses came after Winona scored 18 runs in three straight wins. “Offensively, we're not patient at the plate,” said Coach Mark Austin. “We're swinging at their pitches, not our pitches. In the past, we were waiting on our pitches. Now we're being anxious.
“We're not going deep in the count. We're not having quality at bats.”
Austin Waters had a two-run homer against French Camp and Taylor Barfield doubled in the East Webster game.
The Tigers have home games Saturday with Water Valley and Winston Academy.
