Winona Christian basketball teams got the unlucky draws in the opening round of the MAIS Overall Tournament.
The Lady Stars faced Class 6A No. 2 seed Presbyterian Christian and fell 65-35.
The Winona Christian boys drew the largest school in the MAIS in Jackson Prep and dropped a 71-22 decision.
The Lady Stars finished with a 35-6 record while the Star went 29-4 on the season.

The Lady Star fell in the first round of the Overall Tournament by 30 points to the Class 6A No. 2 seed.
PCS outscored Winona 17-5 in each the first and second quarters to lead 32-10 at the half. The Lady Stars fought back and outscored the Lady Bobcats 17-16 win the third to make the score 48-27 going to the fourth. PCS then outscored WCS 15-8 in the fourth for the final margin.
Bella Roberts led Winona with 20 points and 10 rebounds while Olivia Brooks had five points and four rebounds.
Jackson Prep boys 71, Winona Christian 22
The Patriots outscored the Stars in every period as they took a 49-point win in the first round of the Overall Tournament.
Prep outscored Winona 20-9 in the first and 20-4 in the second to lead 40-13 at the half. Prep continued to pour it on, outscoring the Stars 22-6 in the third and 9-3 in the fourth.
Jake Ware led Winona Christian with 12 points while no other player had more than three points. Brannon hill had five rebounds while Reese Johnson had four boards.
