In their only games last week, Winona Christian split a contest with Benton.
The Stars won the boys contest, taking a 59-38 win over the Raiders while the Lady Stars fell 50-40 to the Lady Raiders.
Other scheduled games last week were cancelled.
Winona will open district play this week as they host rival Carroll on Tuesday. They will finish out the week with home contests against Tri-County on Thursday and Nanih Waiya on Friday to finish out their pre-Christmas schedule. Both teams will play in the Columbus Christian Tournament on Dec. 27 through the 29th.
Winona Christian boys 59, Benton 38
The Stars had little trouble as they dispatched Benton in their only game last week.
Winona led 15-7 at the end of the first and 29-16 at the half. The Stars then outscored the Raiders 24-6 in the third period as they took a 53-22 lead into the fourth.
Reed Roberts led a balanced scoring attack with 18 points while Dalton Wiggins had 15 points and Latham Hill added 12.
