The Winona Christian basketball team only got in one contest last week but made the most of it with a sweep of Indianola.
The Lady Stars dominated the Lady Colonels as they took a 50-17 win while the Stars took a big 57-47 win over the Colonels.
Winona Christian has a busy week as they are scheduled for three games this week. WCS is scheduled to host Columbus Christian on Monday and travel to Central Holmes on Tuesday before finishing week at Oak Hill on Thursday.

The Lady Stars outscored the Lady Colonels in every period and took a 33-point win.
Winona jumped out to a 10-3 lead in the first period and outscored Indianola 17-7 in the second to lead 27-10 at the half. The Lady Stars continued to expand their lead in the second half as they outscored the Lady Colonels 15-2 in the third and 8-5 in the fourth.
Bella Roberts led Winona Christian with 19 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Audrey Eldridge had 10 points and five rebounds while Swayze Marquerdt had eight points, three rebounds and three assists.

Indianola 47
The Stars had a big first half and took a 10-point win over the Colonels in district play last week.
Winona Christian started fast as they led 17-6 at the end of the first period and outscored the Colonels 17-11 in the second to lead 34-17 at the half. Indianola fought back in the third, outscoring Winona Christian 19-10 to cut the lead to 44-36 going into the fourth. Winona held its lead in the fourth, outscoring Indianola 13-11 for the final margin.
Jake Ware had a big game for the Stars as he scored a season-high 33 points and six steals. Collin Parkinson had six points, six assists and four rebounds while Landon Bland had five points, seven rebounds and six blocks.
