Paul Green, a former Winona Christian School standout, banged out a pair of hits for Holmes Community College as the Bulldogs swept Blue Mountain College last week.
The HCC stretched its baseball winning streak to seven games with a trio of doubleheader sweeps last week.
Holmes beat Williams Baptist College 14-4 and 10-1 on March 4, rolled past Blue Mountain 5-1 and 11-3 on March 6, and took a pair of thrillers over Nunez Community College 3-2 and 8-7 on Sunday.
Green, a sophomore, is currently hitting .238 the season, with eight runs scored two RBIs, two doubles and four stolen bases in 12 games played.
He's also walked four times and twice been hit by pitches for a solid on base percentage of .407.
The Bulldogs, now 15-1 on the season, were set to host East Central Community College in a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m., before visiting Jones College for a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Tuesday.
