Tigers win region opener against Noxubee

The Winona High School tennis team opened region play with a 6-1 win over Noxubee County last Thursday at Noxubee.

Vaiden Legends take to Jackson for the first round of playoffs

Last Tuesday, March 4 the Vaiden Legends Basketball Team headed to Jackson to participate in a district tournament. In Jackson, the locally established youth sports team participated in the first round of playoff games.

Eagles soar, Bulldogs battle, and Lady Crusaders make history

The Southern Miss Golden Eagles swept Louisiana Tech over the weekend to improve to 10-1 on the season. The Sunday win over Tech gave Golden Eagles head coach Christian Ostrander his 100th win at USM. Coach Oz reached 100 wins in only 137 games, which is the fastest in school history.
