Girls squad takes a win over Water Valley

The J.Z. George girls picked up a road win last Friday night as the Lady Jaguars beat Water Valley 39-32.
The Lady Jags (3-6) were led by Aaniyah Williams’ 18 points. Teammate Natijah Basin tacked on 12 points.

Winona High School’s football team picked up four of the top six awards selected by the Region 3-3A coaches.
The Tigers finished their 2021 campaign with an 11-2 record after dropping a 52-20 decision to North Panola in the third round of the North 3A playoffs.
