Stars outshine Central Holmes

The Winona Christian boys won two out of three games this past week.
The Stars split a pair of district contests as they hammered Central Holmes 66-34 but lost 68-47 to Greenville St. Joseph. The Stars also took a big 62-60 win over Marshall in non-district play.

JZG Jaguars stands third in Region 4-2A

The J.Z. George boys basketball team currently stands in third place in the Region 4-2A standings after going 1-1 last week in games against Calhoun City and Bruce High School.
The Jaguars played at district for East Webster Tuesday night.

Lady Rebels take home three wins

The Carroll Academy girls picked up two more wins last week on the hardwoods.
The Lady Rebels beat Greenville St. Joseph 32-14 and Indianola 58-19.
The Rebels weren’t as fortunate as they lost 66-47 to St. Joseph and 45-34 to Indianola.

Lady Stars 7-0 in District Play

The Winona Christian girls just keep on piling up the wins as they added three more to their total last week.
The Lady Stars improved to 20-5 on the season and remained undefeated in district play as they beat Central Holmes 48-21 and Greenville St. Joseph 52-20. The Lady Stars also got a big 41-34 win over Marshall on Jan. 20.
