Funeral services for Mr. Robb Travis Hovas of Kilmichael were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Pine Bluff cemetery near Kilmichael. The Rev. Luke Pogue and the Rev. Randy Bridges officiated the services. Pallbearers were Devin Roberts, Johnny Pearson, Perry Vaughn, Brent Woods, Logan Harper, and Drew Tompkins. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Bubba Bond, Daniel Almon, Brad Green, Stanton Smith, Dewayne Montgomery, Daniel Barnhill, Chris Barnhill, Clint Vaughn, and Luke Vaughn
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 3, from noon until service time at Oliver Funeral Home of Winona.
Mr. Robb Travis Hovas, 56, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at his residence in Kilmichael. He was born to Benny and Linda Harrison Hovas on September 12, 1968. He was a member of Kilmichael Methodist Church. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Montgomery County Unit System and was an avid Ole Miss and Atlanta Braves fan.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Bond Hovas of Kilmichael; sons, Benjamin Ryan Hovas (Hilliary) of Kilmichael and Justin O'Neal Hovas of Kilmichael; parents, Benny and Linda Hovas of Kilmichael; sister, Dana Hovas Woods (Brent) of Grenada; brother, Hank Hovas of Kilmichael; and five grandchildren, Ava Carter Hovas, Ryleigh Brooke Gove, Harrison Wyatt Hovas, Allie Johnson and Hayden Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
