Funeral services for Willie Kendle Pittman of Winona were held on Sunday, March 25, 2018, in Lizzie Sanders Memorial Chapel at 3 p.m. with Rev. J.C. Morgan officiating. Burial followed in Hazel Green Cemetery in Winona.
Visitation was held from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, at Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home and from 10:30 a.m. until service time Sunday. There was no viewing after the eulogy.
Mrs. Pittman, 91, died Friday, March 16, 2018, at her home in Winona. A housewife, she was a member of Hazel Green M.B. Church in Winona.
She is survived by her daughters, Margaret Bethea, Mae Carrol Small, both of Winona, Bessie Black of Michigan City, Ind., Glenda Kendle of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Clara McAllister of Jackson, and Willie Mae Burnside of Laurel; step-son Robert Moore of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Delia Ewing of Chicago, Ill.; 44 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
