Funeral services for William G. Glover of Winona were held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Summerfield M.B. Church near Winona, with Rev. Aaron Brown officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery in Winona.
Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Monday, July 2 at Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home in Winona and from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the church on Tuesday. There was no viewing after the eulogy.
Mr. Glover, 83, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. A supervisor at Winona Stockyard, he was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran where he served during the Korean conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Cooper Glover of Winona; daughters, Shirley Ann Glover of Vaiden and Hattie Ruth Hood of Brookfield, Wisc.; sons, William G. Glover, Jr., of Milwaukee, Wisc., and Anthony J. Glover of Tupelo; brother, Cornelius Glover of Milwaukee, Wisc.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of the arrangements.
