Funeral services for William Dennis Keenum of Winona will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24 at Kilmichael Baptist Church in Kilmichael, with burial following in Bethel Cemetery near Kilmichael. Rev. Don Smith will officiate the service, assisted by Rev. Dale Sorgen. Pallbearers will be Glenn Pearson, Jamie Mims, Allen Holmes, Mark McGlothin, Billy Michael McClurg, Patrick Thomas, and James Dendy. Honorary pallbearers will be Wade Henson, Harold Henson, and his fellow members of the Joshua Sunday School Class at Kilmichael Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Friday, February 24 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
William Dennis Keenum, 61, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. He was born in Wynne, Arkansas on October 22, 1961 to William A. and Joann Whitlock Keenum. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for MDOT. He enjoyed auctioneering, buying, selling, trading, and making deals. He enjoyed spending time with his family and hanging out with his brother, he lovingly knew as “Bubba”. He loved spoiling his great nieces and nephews and was a member of Kilmichael Baptist Church. He was a friend and helping hand to anybody and everybody and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pammie Dees Keenum of Winona; his mother, Joann Whitlock Keenum of Starkville; sister, Vickie Sharp (Greg) of Starkville; brother, Randy Keenum (Julie) of Kilmichael; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his loving companions, Sassy (his little buddy) and Rambo.
He is preceded in death by his father; and great-niece, Cassidy Keenum.
