Vera Ann Adams, 67, of Sidon, died Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
Visitation was 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9 at Williams & Lord Funeral Home in Greenwood. Graveside services was 2 p.m. Thursday, August 9 at McCaleb Family Cemetery in Carroll County. Rev. Glenn Waller officiated and Williams & Lord Funeral Home was charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Adams was born December 20, 1950 to Robert Edward Williams, Sr. and Eva Cross Munn in Blythville, Ark. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and enjoyed helping the elderly at Crystal Rehab Nursing Home.
She was a loving mother, aunt, friend, and never met a stranger. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lee Adams, Sr., father, Robert Edward Williams, step-father, Ray Munn, brothers, Thomas Williams and Robert Edward Williams, Jr., and sisters, Faye Morris, Norma Lee Williams and Eva Mae Williams.
She is survived by her daughters, Nettie Ann Randall of Corvallis, Ore. and Eva Renee Conway of Fresno, Ca.; sons, Jimmie Lee Adams, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Moses Lake, Wa., Robert Kelly Adams and wife Lori of Sherwood, Ark. and Gregory Michael Adams of Fresno, Ca.; mother, Eva Mae Munn of Greenwood; brothers, Charles Richard Williams and wife Audry of Greenwood and John Glenn Williams and wife Donna of Greenwood; sister, Dessie Weaver of Des Moines, Iowa and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Scott Carpenter, Reed Adams, Mike Cooper, Bennie McCaleb, Jr., William Rutherford, and Jimmy McBride.
