Funeral services for Sandy Joblin, of Brandon, were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27 at Bethsaida Baptist Church near French Camp, with burial following in the church cemetery. Rev. Alex Lawson officiated the services. Visitation was on Wednesday, December 27 from noon until service time at the church.
Sandy Joblin, 67, passed away in Bartlett, Tenn., on December 24, 2017. She was born to the late Earlis and Sue Lawson on March 7, 1950, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was a retired administrator with North Mississippi Regional Center in Oxford and Senatobia. She was a member of Looxahoma Baptist Church in Senatobia, and attended St. Marks United Methodist Church in Brandon.
Ms. Joblin is survived by her daughter, Suzan Watson, and husband Mark of Brandon; son, Jim Joblin, and wife Gail of Seattle, Wash.; sister, Marilyn Coll of Jacksonville, Ark.; two brothers, Rev. Alex Lawson, and wife Becky of French Camp and George Lawson, and wife Aleta of Benton, Ark.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
